Recently, the curtain wall project of China Merchants Bank Global Headquarters, constructed by Hainan Development Sanxin Technology, was officially topped out. The installation of the final set of stainless steel panels at the 388-meter mark with high precision marked this milestone, signifying that the world-renowned global superbank headquarters has entered its final phase of completion!

As the tallest (388 meters) and most challenging單體銀行類項目 (single-bank category project) in China, the China Merchants Bank Headquarters Tower features an extraordinary curtain wall system. The超大幕墻板塊 (super-large curtain wall panels) weigh an average of 5.1 tons each, cover an average area of 53.8 square meters, and total 1,016 units—setting a new national (and global) record.
Since the hoisting of the first curtain wall panel, the project has faced multiple challenges, including the design and construction of super-large panels, the erection of超大超高空間鋼架 (super-large and ultra-high spatial steel frames), and a tight schedule.
With the full support of the Sanxin Technology Party General Branch, the project team demonstrated innovation and resilience. Leveraging the company’s "Smart Sanxin BIM Platform," they achieved full-process visual management from design and fabrication to construction for both the super-large curtain wall panels and oversized spatial steel frames. The team adopted an integrated technical approach combining "standardized documents and BIM management technology + 3D scanning + parametric analysis with visual feedback + total station precision positioning installation." This ensured accurate alignment and orderly construction from fabrication to installation of the large panels and steel structures. Additionally, the "large-panel vertical hoisting system" and "wind-resistant hoisting measures" effectively addressed challenges related to construction safety and installation efficiency.
